Ashley Church

Managing Director & Vice Chairman

Ashley is a well-known social media commentator with strong views on politics and the economy and is frequently quoted on radio and in print. He writes for the Herald and also appears regularly as a guest commentator and industry expert in national media.

He is a past Chairman of the Taxpayers Union, a founding member of the Free Speech Union and one of the founding Directors of the Israel Institute of New Zealand.

Ashley also has an extensive background in the property industry, going back more than 30 years and had established his first portfolio of 7 properties by the time he was 23.

As the CEO of the Property Institute between 2015 and 2019, he transformed that organisation into a highly visible property advocacy body. Prior to that he was CEO of both the Newmarket Business Association and the Auckland Property Investors Association.

He served as an elected Councillor, in Napier, between 1989 and 1998 and remains the youngest person ever elected to that Authority.

Olivia Atkins

Director

Olivia is a real estate enthusiast who started her career at 16 years old. She specialises in property flipping and investment. Currently, she holds dual roles as Office Manager and a real estate salesperson at First National Waitakere. An integral member of Team Atkins, a dynamic and award winning sales team.

Olivia is dedicated to the growth and success of the “First National” brand as she has lived & breathed it for as long as she can remember.  Also a dedicated member of First National Real Estate NZ board of Directors.

A suburban Aucklander, Olivia, her husband Ethan & daughter Celine have chosen to create a haven on a beautiful 12-acre farm on the west coast of Auckland. She relishes the tranquillity and privacy away from the typical hustle and bustle of the city, providing a balanced perspective on the real estate market.

Tara Maxwell

Director

Tara and Graham purchased First National Gore in 2012 and have consistently excelled with an extremely successful team, winning National success.

Tara holds a Diploma in Business Studies endorsed in Public Relations from Massey University and a National Diploma in Real Estate Agent Level 5.

Her ability to relate to people is evident when you meet her, and she is passionate about uplifting people to achieve their own individual goals. If you were to ask her what the definition of success is to her she would say, ‘When I meet people and they compliment me on the calibre of our children or our team, it makes me very proud’.
